How the Portfolio Project came about...

Rudy Miles, Crystal Allen and I (Shauna Intelisano) have been working together to produce DAM, The Denver Academy of Makeup, since 2008. During which time we have been inspired by working with each other as well as talented makeup artists and models.

This has compelled us to put together the Portfolio Project, a workshop focused on makeup for photography and creating a portfolio that can get makeup artists to the next level in the industry.

Funklectic gave me a bunch of colorful, fun creations to use for the photo shoot. I was so impressed with Rudy's makeup and the way it fit with all the crazy colors I was working with.
