Japanese American makeup artist Sarah Barlow has always had a strong artistic flair that is deeply rooted in her childhood and cultural heritage. Coming from a creative and musically inclined family she pursued a degree in art and continues to nurture her painting skills. Sarah recently moved to Denver and enrolled in the cosmetology program at the Aveda Institute where she is working to build a career that stimulates her creativity and passion.
In 2010 Sarah attended the Denver Academy of Makeup (DAM) instructed by world-renowned makeup artist Rudy Miles. During the final day of DAM she saw her work come to life on the set of her first photo shoot and she knew she had found her true calling. Sarah has participated in multiple hair and makeup shows and competitive events to continue growing her craft. Staying active in her field, on top of current trends, and acquiring new techniques through continued education is what makes Sarah’s talent excel and stand out.
Sarah Barlow offers makeup and hair styling services for bridal, print, film and is available to travel.
